What should I do to get rid of my acne and blemishes?

My skin is really oily and I've tried everything but my skin becomes irriated and I've got loads of pimples and pimple scars. Its becoming embaring and when people stare at me I always think they look at the ugly dots on my face. What can I do to have clear smooth, radiant healthy skin? How can I have baby smooth skin and finally have compliments on how good my skin is?
