After giving birth..?

hun don't be embarred to ask lots of questions!! I know I sure did right before having my lil one. And I still do now that she's here. =) when I had Maddie they gave her her first bath right in front of me while I was still getting stitched up. So in the delivery room and all. Then they handed her over to me and left me and hubby to it! If you send her to the nursery to get some sleep... They will feed (if bottle fed) and change them but if baby is in the room with you then they pretty much leave you alone unless you ask for istance... And don't be ashamed or scared to do so. I was kinda embarred that I had to ask for help getting to the bathroom the first time after having her...and they reured me that they'd rather be there helping me than me get up and hurt myself trying by myself. It's the same with the babies. And ask all the questions you can think of! But I'm sure you can request that they leave you guys alone unless you ask for their help.
