'96 Jeep Grandcherokee stuck in 3rd gear.?

I have a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee that will not shift out of 3rd gear. I had my mechanic look at it and they said that all of the solenoids were fine. The transmission is in good shape. I think that it may be a computer problem. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?
