How can I communicate better with my girlfriend?

I have been with my girl for almost 2 years now. I'm concerned though that I am becoming boring. When our relationship first started we talked all the time. She always used to say "tell me something good" and I would satisfy her with an amusing story or volunteer information about my feelings. Now that we have been together so long though I don't think I have anything left interesting to say. Keep in mind she asks me to tell her something interesting everyday! So now its like when she asks I don't have anything interesting to say. I have run out of stuff to interest her. The funny thing is that I will occasionally ask her to tell me something interesting but she always says " I dunno what to say" and brushes it off. How can I rekindle my communication with her and how can she start communicating with me?
