What do i need to do to help my child?

My son goes to high school he didnt grow up with these kids he has been going to this school since 4th grade. there is this boy that since we have moved here has given my son a hard time. it doesnt happen all the time. i guess whenever he feels froggy. what makes it worse this childs dad is a cop so he thinks he can do whatever. well since they are in high school it has gotten worse. the boy is texting him at home and he has hit him. i brought this up to the vice principal yesterday and he was suppose to talk to the boy. well what makes this worse is that my son has told his teacher and the teacher just told the boy to appologize which is fine and dandy but my son who has Apergers and has an IEP plan in place goes to the office for stupid thing he has never put his hands on any one. then a girl hit my son in the same teachers cl and again he only made her appologize. what should i do. or what would you do? anybody especiall that has any experience with IEP's or dealing with schools and kids with disabilities.
