Sony Home Theatre System (Surround sound) not fully working with all speakers on regular Verizon FIOS TV?

Regular tv is only in 2.0 and your receiver forces it into 3.1 if you want 5.1 or 7.1 which ever you have, press the on on the receiver that says "AFD" and it will play it over all of your speakers.
