your father is definitely being unfair. some girls have to buy jeans in the men's department cause they have a bigger figure.it's the same as that. You should tell him that you bought those shorts not because they were feminine but because they simply fit you! It's about the size and the right fit. you can't help how you're shaped and the size standards that stores abide to aren't fairly universal, it's just a general guess. i once heard pete wentz from fall out boy saying he mostly has to get jeans from the women's department cuz it fits more properly on his slim figure. you're not alone. you can't blame your father though cause he does come from another GENERATION . it's tough cause it may take a while until he understands but until he does you're just gonna have to stand by your opinions because there is nothing wrong about your argument. and you could also tell him that if you wanted to be a transvestite you would have bought a mini skirt! it's important to emphasize the point which is that you chose those pants cuz it simply fit better!
