Creaking and pain after hill walk...?

I would advise you to try and stay off your feet as much as possible for a few days! You have really worn out the muscles in your ankles/feet and so the rest of your foot is taking a beating because your muscles have worn out. You don't want to permanently injure yourself! Staying off your feet and keeping them up or soaking them in epsom salts and /or icing them should help:D Have fun in Scotland!
